Okay, babe Tam. If you want a business and you want a business that works for you, you have to put in the groundwork of actually doing the work. And I want you to realize that I think a lot of the time we think we're actually doing more in our business. But we're not actually doing more. We're thinking more. I want you to think about maybe over the last day or two, how much you have thought about your business and how exhausted you may feel, and then you feel like that. Why aren't the results catching up? You know, I feel like I'm doing all of this stuff. I want you to make a connection with the fact that thinking about your business and thinking about problems and where you wanna be isn't actually working on your business. And what we wanna make sure is that. We have aligned action to get us the results that we want. And that is not going to happen, which how with, with how much we're actually thinking about it. And I know that this may feel very obvious, but it's really interesting. Having conversations with people, seeing what is coming up online, and I don't know if this is like my like boomer entrepreneur self coming out, but the feeling of entitlement because you have a good idea or because you are good at what you do, feeling like that you should be successful because of that. And no one gets to skip over the hard work of entrepreneurship. No one gets to skip over, you know, all of the work that we need to do to create something incredible. And I know that you may be looking at the outliers within an industry, thinking about how, you know, they said that they were only working 10 hours a week and how they're a million. saw, uh, this reel this week, and I wish I could remember who posted it, but she was basically saying that we're in this really funny spot where we're attracted to hard work because we feel that when like a lot of time and energy goes into something, it is worthwhile, but on, on the other side of it. We don't wanna actually have to work hard, and if someone tells us that we have to kind of stretch ourselves. It's really interesting that we're always then attracted to the person that is promoting ease. obviously this is quite a nuanced conversation because at the end of the day, there is actually no correlation between how hard you work and how much money you get paid. Because you think about all of the people that we see that are exceptional, that do the work, they're working a lot and they're just not making money because their business structure doesn't work for them. I'm not talking about that, but what I'm talking about is I feel almost like this entitlement of feeling like that we should be rewarded because we've kind of done the bare minimum. And as someone with a deep love of entrepreneurship, a deep love of business, and a real devotion for the idea and the vision that I have, I almost feel offended and I feel offended when I see people. That wanna make all this money and they just don't wanna work, and they feel that this is a vehicle for an easy life. What I'm gonna say is that I would probably just get married to someone really wealthy and take half of their assets. Like if you want to become a millionaire overnight. That's probably what I would do. But if you are choosing entrepreneurship, that is going to take a level of hustle and devotion and commitment. And I am not saying that you can't build a business where you are making all of this money, but what I'm saying. You need to ask yourself, am I skipping over the grunt work and the foundations and actually the business part of business? Because I want the rewards. I want the lifestyle business I have. I have been told by someone on Instagram that I just need to do this one thing and I'll have the success. I want you to remember that anytime. Someone is promoting or saying anything. On the other side of that, there is a call to action and a sales agenda. Even if in that moment that person doesn't have a sales agenda, if there is no call to action, they are still priming you You know, I don't think that this is probably gonna get the popular vote, but at the end of the day, I'm not a coach. I'm a business advisor, and I am here to advise you on what it actually takes to build something exceptional and. If you want an exceptional business that is gonna work for you, you have to put the work in and you wanna make sure that it is actual work. It is not mental work. It is not you thinking about content. It's not you thinking about the future, because if your mind is so busy on thought and you don't actually see anything tangible. Have you ever thought that this is why you feel like it's all for nothing? Because it is. Because what is really present and in abundance is you thinking about the results, thinking about all of the things that you are gonna do, but if you are not actually following through on action, this is why we, I think we have more entrepreneurs that just are so over their business. What I'm gonna say is you wanna make sure that when you are continually thinking about your business, that action is present. If you are thinking about content, go and do the content. If you are thinking about a big income month, go and do the sales, as I was thinking about this episode, I was thinking back to 2021. I ran this training called Bulletproof Your Marketing and Make Email Your Bitch. And I had someone that had a light bulb moment that then resulted in a sale and it was, are you actually. You know, just thinking about the thing and ruminating on that or are you actually thinking about it and that there is action present? Because I think a lot of us can feel like that we are very busy in our business, but if you were to actually time block, I think that you would see a stark contrast with the amount of mental energy on versus action present in a business. And there is a huge difference between 40 hours of thinking about something versus 40 hours of doing something. And what I also find interesting is I feel that there is a, a natural dislike in business to Alex Hormoz because he expects you to work in your business. And we have all of these entrepreneurs that feel entitled to make all this money. Without actually ever having to work. And you know what, this is me not saying that I expect anyone to work a hundred hours a week, but it is me saying that you need to earn your keep and you need to establish a good brand for yourself before you actually can soak up the, the fruits and the rewards of what you are doing. When I started my Pilates studio, you know, I had one class. Where I had one client in it for six months and I just couldn't get anyone else in it, and I didn't wanna inconvenience the client because my business was taking a bit of time to grow and I could have canceled that class. I could have felt like, because you know, I got a commercial lease and because I put this class on that I felt entitled to fill it. But I knew that for me to fill the classes, I had to do the work, and it was going to take a bit of grunt work to get to that point. But what fueled me was so much a love of what I was doing, and it was really seeing the future that I could have available to me if I did the work Now imagine if I was just thinking about filling that class every time I went to that class, if, if I was in so much thought about this. I would've still had a class that was empty and I would've felt like I was doing all of the things instead of actually doing the action to fill the class. So this is your reminder this week as we head into the week, is to really be conscious of how much mental energy you are spending thinking about your business versus actually going and getting the results. Do you look at people on Instagram and you are so envious of their results because if that's the case, you need to make sure that you have the action that is present for you to get the results. So here are some things for you to think about as we head into the week. If you think about the big business that you desire to have and you think about the clients that you want, do you follow that with action or does that just stay a thought? Is that like a little mind movie? do you ever have a sense of entitlement because you have a good idea and you put the work in once that you feel entitled to get paid? I. Can you gimme like two minutes? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you. Um, we're gonna have to leave this meeting room because I have got someone who wants it, but, um, I just wanna say that. Just because you have a good idea doesn't mean that you are entitled to be successful. And I feel like this isn't gonna get me the popular vote at the end of the day. I don't want the popular vote. I don't wanna be a friend. I want you to be better, and I want you to have a great business, and I want you to make a lot of fucking money. Hot stuff. I love this. I love this. I love you. Love you more than Hague chocolate. Oh my God. They have these sexy little chocolate puddings. I had these like little cherry chocolate truffles yesterday. I'm also back in my Robert Green era. I am back reading. I love you more than mornings. The fact I've shifted my bedtime three hours earlier. I love you more than my morning Pilates class. I love you more than how fucking good I'm looking, how good my ass is looking, how great my hair is looking, because I just got my roots done. Hot stuff. I hope this wasn't too hard. I hope it wasn't a little bit too sloppy. Sloppy, but maybe it was the episode that you needed. Because I love you. I love your business. I love the ideas you have, but you just wanna make sure that you're not stuck in your head thinking about things without action present. And I know this may feel very basic, but sometimes we need basic advice, and the simple advice is going to work the best. I love this. I love you. I'll see you on the next episode.
